The University of los Andes has the obligation to rectify and update the data of the holders when they identify that the information that the University has stored in the institutional databases is incomplete or inaccurate, the foregoing, in accordance with the internal procedure established by the University. In this regard, the following shall be taken into account:

• In requests for rectification and update of personal data, the holder must indicate the corrections to be made and provide the documentation that supports their request.

• The University of los Andes has full freedom to enable mechanisms that facilitate the exercise of this right, as long as they benefit the holder. Consequently, it may enable electronic or other means that it deems pertinent.
